Memorial Day and Father's Day are quickly approaching. On Memorial Day we celebrate, honor remember and reflect on our lost soldiers who courageously fought or served in the many different branches of military service for the advancement of our freedoms and way of life here in America and around the world.

My grandfather served in the U S Navy during World War 2 and died on the USS Houston in the Battle of the Java Sea. For many years after I remember that my grandmother couldn't get over that. She had much hate in her soul. But at the same time she was able to show us grandchildren some love, in her own way.

That's just it. We never know how people are going to  be effected by events in their lives. We hope and pray that they can continue to show love to one another and remain peaceful.

But because we are all different and respond to events so individually, lets choose wisely to be kind to one another.

"When the power of Love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace" Jimi Hendrix
