Seniors and others are asked to donate as much as they can for their meal. The donation is voluntary and helps to keep the program open. All enrolled seniors may have a meal even if unable to donate. All are welcome regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, disability, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation/identity, medical condition, political status, military status or victim status.

Food Bank Deliveries

The Food Bank currently delivers to our site on Wednesdays at 9:00 am. You are welcome to pick up a box of free nutritious groceries at this time.

Grey Bears Healthy Food Delivery Program

Each week on Thursdays at 9am the Prunedale Senior Center is a distribution site of bags of fruits, vegetables and bread for people who sign up.

We are currently looking for a volunteer driver to relieve Marcie once a month and drive to Watsonville to pick up the bags. Please call Bob at 831-663-5023 if you're interested in helping out. 

To sign up for Grey Bears Bags the Annual cost is $30 for one year, $50 for two years, $70 for three years, and $250 for lifetime. Free sign up is available for anyone with a financial hardship – no one is ever turned away.

Mini Food Bank on Friday morning's.
We have a volunteer who is bringing 20 Food Bank Dry Good Bags to distribute at the Center on Friday Mornings  from 9 AM -12 Noon.
If this programs needs growing we will grow it. Please call before you stop by to make sure a bag is available. 831-663-5023
